Well, as we've started posting here more often, it's time for a new intro post.

About us:
Hello world! We're the Riders and Racers System. We're a bunch of Kamen Riders, racing drivers from several series including F1, Formula E and the BTCC, and people from many other sources including Doctor Who (including Big Finish and some of the DWM/Panini Publishing comics), Netflix series such as Squid Game and Alice in Borderland, Roblox, Minecraft and Terraria, books such as The Maze Runner and the work of Philip Reeve (Mortal Engines, the Railhead Trilogy), various other YA book series such as Artemis Fowl, HIVE and CHERUB, Star Wars, a few K-pop drummers, other tokusatasu dramas such as Tomica Hero, OCtives, and many more!

We're nearly all fictives and factives, and we are also collectively an archetrope for a plot cycle many of us share called The Cyclebreakers. Species wise, we're a mix of humans, robots, cyborgs, aliens, digital beings, otherhumans, gods and many more. We consider ourselves alterhuman but not nonhuman, and many of us fall under the umbrella of human alterhumanity, such as being humans with powers, half-humans, or people with connections to humanity in the sense of the heart, emotion and the human spirit.

We are 20 bodily, white and British. We are collectively transmasc/masc presenting nonbinary and queer aroace, and use he/they pronouns. Please ask however, as our pronouns do vary! We are currently studying Computer Science at an university in Wales, doing an industrial placement year (year long internship) in cybersecurity. We love our sources, motorsport of all kinds, karate, jiu jitsu, drums, music (especially rock), poetry and more. We're also exploring being a nontheistic Quaker (https://www.quaker.org.uk/).

About this blog:
Here is our place for our essays about our alterhuman and system experiences, along with some older writings from before we figured out our plurality, which are here for archival purposes. We hope you find our writing interesting, and maybe you'll get to learn something new about yourself from it! After all, it's sharing of experiences and listening to others that help make communities. Comments are welcome, and we'll try to respond to as many comments as we can. However, we will apply discression about what we're willing to talk about in them. Posts will be sporadic here, but we will post here when we can!

We are happy for you to add links to our writing to personal websites and archives such as the Alterhuman Archive. However, please do not repost our writing to Tumblr or other platforms. When using our work as a source or quoting it as part of another piece, please link back to it or reference us. Where to find us:
Here, we are a member of the Fictionfolk Dreamwidth, and you might see us commenting on other people's work. Eight, one of our co-hosts, also has a Dreamwidth of his own for him and his companions: eight-randr.dreamwidth.org/. On Tumblr, Marco has his own alterhuman blog, [profile] geatsoneness, which he uses alongside this Dreamwidth for his own identity. We are on Instagram and Discord as [personal profile] clumpywoods, and on the Nonhuman National Park forum as riders_and_racers.

Thanks for reading, and we hope you enjoy our writing!
